OUTREACH visits for Keystages 1 and 2
Some of the activities offered in the Schools’ Centre’s extensive range of day visit programmes are now available to schools as outreach days, delivered in your own school as whole class workshop sessions. We will provide one Sparsholt teacher in your school for one whole day! Specialist equipment and printed resources for your chosen workshop(s) will be provided, but sadly not everything is transportable!
Outreach visits are tailored to meet your needs and to fit with your school day. A number of workshop activities could be offered to a single class or you may prefer to select one or two activities that are repeated with several classes over the day. The choice is yours! Outreach workshops in school are:
- Planned and taught by qualified, experienced teachers
- Hands on, interactive outdoor learning experiences
- Designed to deliver specific curriculum-linked learning outcomes
- Fully equipped including specialist resources and equipment
- Risk assessed
